N is a fantastic nutritionist from Tanzania in the final months of her PhD. She has worked extremely hard for 3 years but is not ready to stop. She would love to complete one final study using all the knowledge and skills she has gained and ensuring she can take back proven practical management approaches to help patients with kidney disease in low resources settings like Tanzania. This final study will assess the effectiveness of a simple exercise intervention in patients on dialysis who are not responding to their medications. To run this safely we need to pay for 100 hours of physiotherapist time, costing £2000. Every penny we raise will help make this important research project a reality, not just for N's benefit, or for the patients in the UK but for all those living in low resource settings for whom a simple, low cost exercise plan could significantly impact on their health and quality of life.
