Weʼve raised £603 to Help fund two Nottingham dancers to attend the Dance World Cup in Portugal and represent team England!

Story
Two Nottingham dancers have been selected by former Strictly Judge Arlene Phillips to represent team England in the Dance World Cup! This is due to take place 28/6/19 to the 6/7/19.
A level and University students Shenea and Kyra are said to be over the moon to be chosen to represent England in such a prestigious competition.
Shenea and Kyra attend a small up and coming dance academy, run by dance principal and single mum of four Amal Fawzi, called Expressive Arts Academy in Sneinton Nottingham. The girls will compete against 54 other countries as well as against dancers from larger and more well known dance academys in the UK.
Expressive Arts Academy are hoping to raise in excess of £1000 to cover the costs of travel, accomodation and dance kit!
All assistance with helping these bright and talented students attend this competition will be greatly received.

5 years agoAm so sorry it’s taken me a while to write this update! Fundraising efforts went well achieving some through just giving and more through bag packs, cake sales, events etc! As I am sure you all know, Kyra rocked her solo making top 6 in the world and Shenea and Kyra brought home the Gold for Acro senior Duet at the Dance World Cup! How proud are we all of the girls and their principal Amal! England rocked and brought home the World Cup! Well done to England and especially our girls. Thank you everyone for your support....same again in 2020? Xx
