Fairtrade is the most widely recognised ethical label in the world and one that has paved a more conscious way of shopping since it started 22 years ago. It currently works with 1.6 million farmers and workers across 74 developing countries, providing a safety net against volatile market prices and the Fairtrade Premium - often the only resource to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions.

Mossley is the only Fairtrade town in Tameside. To maintain this status, the Fairtrade Mossley group has to encourage shops and cafes to provide Fairtrade items and inform residents of the benefits of Fairtrade goods and encourage their purchase.

To do this, Fairtrade Mossley relies on donations and fundraising. So Fair Ted and Jack will be running the Mossley 10k on Sunday 14th July. Please help us continue our work by donating to this cause.
