Our furbaby Jengis is very poorly and in the vet hospital at the monent stupidly he is no longer insured.. He is struggling to wee & has undergone anesthetic have a cathiter to empty his bladder blood tests confirm he has diabeties.. He is responding well to insulin our estimated bill so far is £983 for 3 nights stay Plus his first lot of insulin & needles. He was happy eating drinking purring.. as he is the biggest softest cat !! we had set up a payment plan & paid a large chunk of the bill. We were winning. Untill his catheter kinked so the vet removed it but he was unable to pass urine naturally. They then fitted another catheter. The vet is now saying his muscles have gone into spasm and if he cannot pass urine on friday when they remove this second catheter then we have the choice of a possible lifesaving op that is £1500 or PTS ... The vets wont let me pay this by installments we are devastated . My grandson has compelled me to try & give Jengis his best chance by setting up crowdfunding he is so heart broken Jengis was his first kitten and he isnt taking this news well at all. So here I am.. I can hear some people already ‘he should have been insured‘ ‘you shouldnt have pets if you cant afford them’ crowdfunding is mordern day begging. I know all of that.. My Grandson is in bits this is why im here, now writing this asking you to not judge me .. just pass this post by if thats how you feel.. and i get it i really do.
