    Story

“sometimes I want to ask God, why he allows poverty, famine and injustice in the world when he could do something about it. But I’m afraid he might ask me the same question”

Alhamdulillah by the will of ALLAH SWT I will be travelling to Palestine on 28th November 2018 to visit an orphanage centre.

    - Palestine is the home to masjid al Aqsa, the third most holiest site on earth for Muslims. - It was the 2nd mosque ever built on earth, 40 years after the kaabah. - It was also the first direction of prayer prior to the kaabah. - Prayer here is worth 500 times more than any other location - It was the location where the prophet Muhammad SAW met and led all the previous prophets in prayer, and then embarked on the miraaj to the heavens - Prophet Isa (as) birthplace is located between 4 to 6 miles from Jerusalem - Many prophets including Ibrahim (AS), Yaqub(AS), Yusuf(AS) and Ishaq (AS) as well as Maryam RA are buried in Jerusalem. Prophet Musa (AS) is also buried not too far from Jerusalem.

The current situation is Palestine is very dire. Everyday hundreds of children are killed whilst we live our luxury lives. There is no current external help or support, trade within the old city of Jerusalem is very restricted. Muslims from surrounding areas are unable to travel in, as there are entry and exit barriers imposed by the armed forces. Essentially the only people who can buy from them is the people from within their own communities. But, of course there are no jobs and incomes are low. Therefore, it is up to people like me and you who earn money and are physically able to go there and help the needy. The media has done a great job in recent years, using scaremongering tactics scaring people away from going there. So many people feel like they can’t go or are too scared. So, we're left in situation where those who live there can't help each other, and those who can help, don't as we are too afraid to. As a result, the children of Palestine are unable to live a normal life with basic necessities.

The Holy Prophet said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

“I and one who maintains an orphan would be together in Paradise in the presence of Allah, in the same way as these two fingers are together.”

We may not be able to give these children the freedom and life they deserve but we can help them to survive. Every penny donated will go towards their meals, clothing and shelter.

It would be a huge injustice to sit quietly and turn a blind eye when I know I could do something, even something small to help the children of Palestine. And I pledge you to please do the same. Even a £1, may be insignificant to you and me but it provides hope to the Palestinians, and hope is priceless.

If you have already distributed your money then please kindly share this message with others and Insha’Allah keep them and the Ummah in your supplications.

    - THIS IS A 100% DONATION POLICY

    - Photos and videos will be uploaded on my social media upon my return from the blessed land. -there is no set target, hence i have just written £200, May Allah swt reward you all all for your efforts. Jazakallah Khair
