Virgin media are currently delivering our super-fast fibre optic network in Sunderland, The work that is required to install our cables can be quite invasive as we need to dig up the footpaths and install street furniture. Being the community liaison officer for Sunderland one of my roles is to find ways to give back to the community we are working in. We have decided this year to join with Sun FM with their Christmas toy drive making sure no child wakes up on Christmas day without a present. Christmas is an exciting time of the year for children staying up late to see if they can catch a glimpse of Santa on his sleigh and waking up on Christmas day to see if he has been and left them lots of lovely presents under the tree but we forget about the children who wake up with nothing so Virgin media want to bring a smile to those children's faces but we need our friends and colleagues help to be able to deliver as many present as we can.
