Over the course of this year I will be partaking in a numerous of events raising money and awareness for both Cure Leukaemia and Mind Mental Health Charity.

The vital funds for Cure Leukaemia’s will allow the network of specialist research nurses to continue to connect blood cancer patients with potentially life-saving treatments across the UK.

The vital funds for Mind with help provide. the support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. If they have sufficient funds then they can continue to listen, act, support until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

Event 1- Birmingham Velo May 12th. An individual event which is going to challenge my endurance and mental strength. Until January 12th I had never event sat on a road bike - but I am ready. It is an epic 100 mile closed road route that will take 17,000 riders on an unforgettable journey through the West Midland.

Event 2 - The Wolf Run June 1st. A team event where 25 clients of all different abilities, will be tackling a series of tough obstacles - both man-made and natural - designed to test your mental & physical strength, skill and stamina.
