I am partipating in the Virgin Sport Oxford Half Marathon on the 7th of october 2018, this will be my first long distance road race! This will be a significant challenge in itself, with a 3 month training schedule and 120 miles per month training. The funding I hope to acquire from this race will contribute towards my trip to Thailand and Cambodia in July 2019, a World Challenge expedition.

While I am on this expedition I hope to enhance a local communities‘ way of life by engaging in a week long project. Ultimately, alongside other fundraising events and schemes, I will be running this race to crowdfund for this opportunity to make the livelihoods’ of others better. I would love to build something that can be used in the future and make an active difference to the way a community can thrive and conduct its day to day jobs or education.
