Due to the phenomenal support and generosity for Sally we have reached the first milestone to get the scooter. A huge thank you to those of you helping. You have no idea how much these items will help my sister. We are blown away at the staggering response and our new goal is to raise enough so that we can get her an orthopaedic mattress too.

Sally needs a Kneerover mobility knee scooter to improve her poor quality of life and give her some independence. As we do not have the funds for everything she needs we want to help her by crowdfunding.

Sally has had life changing surgery which has left her with severe nerve damage. She has two teenage daughters to look after alone and she has coped with this trauma incredibly. Myself, my nieces, our family and friends all really want her to be able to have the freedom she needs and deserves to be able to go out with her children, family and friends.

The donations will go directly to Sal, and she will be able to use them to buy the knee scooter if we can all reach the target.

Sally is going to need various bits of financial support for expensive stuff like the scooter, eventually a new mattress and other stuff to make her and the girl's lives manageable and if you can't help financially then she also needs a lot of extra emotional and practical support to be able to function and adapt to this crap situation. Things we all usually take for granted.
