Hi guys,

On the 23rd of March this year, the two of us will be travelling to Ghana to volunteer in a childcare centre with children as young as 6 months to 3 years old, and above.

We will be there volunteering for 2 weeks, living with a local family and really embracing the Ghanaian way of life. At the centre, we will be working alongside local staff to assist with teaching and caring for the 40 or so children that attend everyday, giving them the extra support, attention and one-to-one time that so many are deprived of.

We really want to make our time there as helpful and meaningful as possible. Your donations will go towards buying as much supplies as we can for the children after we have arrived and found out exactly what things they need the most.

Anything left over will be given directly to the daycare centre, and trust us when we say, it really will make a HUGE difference. The matching uniforms that you see the kids wearing in the above photo came directly from money that was raised by just one other volunteer. They really do have next to nothing, and the level of gratitude for the things we all take for granted here at home, we already know will be something else.
