I am Vice-Chair of the Friends of Jubilee Court, which is an organisation set up to help fund raise for the nursing home Jubilee Court Stevenage. Our Newest adventure is our Minibus appeal, where we are trying to raise £15,000 for a minibus, as due to unfavourable circumstances Jubilee Court no longer has access to one. When they did all residents had to opportunity for an outing, they all had the chance to go to town for church services, to visit festive market, local art visits, or even to go down the park and have tea and cake by the lake. The minibus even gave one resident the chance to continue his lifelong support for his beloved Stevenage FC.

Unfortunately, as I have said, there is no long a minibus to use and we need help. Until Jubilee Court has one the residents can no long have any such outings and due the the needs of some residents the minibus needs to have a special rams and equipment.
