Dog Doctor Update: I went and met a new friend yesterday, he gave me an odd cuddle. He wanted to play with my legs and inside my mouth, very strange, but I’ll take the attention.

When I go visit him again, I’ve got to have operations on my snozzle and soft pallet. Plus 2 biopsies and 2 X-Rays. Hooman says after being tied up, attacked, beaten and starved, that I’m one tough cookie and this will be a walk in the park. All I heard was ‘cookie’ and ‘park’. After cookies and park, I’ve been told I’ll feel much better, so super excited for that.

Hooman is still swapping lots of our stuffs for bits of paper with an old lady on, so I get to make lots of new friends which is great.

But hooman is super sad though, as she‘s not swapping quick enough, for me to have my breathing operation before the hot weather, and she doesn’t like to see me struggle.

Hey Hoomans,

My name is George. I‘m a 5 year old (my vets best guess) rescued French Bulldog.

Unfortunately since giving me my forever home my hooman has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (I can’t pronounce it either). I think this is fantastic as I get so many more belly rubs because she can’t work. I don’t think she is as happy about it though.

Regardless of my hooman’s problems she’s determined to get me fixed up and looking sharp.

Since collecting me, my hooman has helped me gain the 6kg I was lacking and my embedded chain marks and the bite wounds from the bullies I used to live with are almost unnoticeable (other than the one on my eye).

I almost look like a real boy, if you ignore my half bitten off ear and the fact that I don’t walk properly.

Sadly my hooman has found out that I have several on going medical conditions, such as atopic skin disease which means I have to have medicated baths every 3 days, my damaged eye needs life long medical gel and I have problems with my hemi-vertebrae to name a few. We have also been told that I badly need to have a BOAS operation to help me breathe more easily too.

My hooman has set up pages on the likes of Shpock etc and is gradually selling anything not bolted down in our home, but sadly it‘s not enough.

If any of you kind hoomans who have spent the time reading about my forever life could spare me a copper or two towards my operations, my hooman and I would be eternally grateful. Much loves George 🐾
