We would like to help one or more of the local children in the village we stay in Sri Lanka attend school for the first time. Many of the children are from very poor families who are unable to afford to buy the childrens uniform, shoes, bag, books, pens etc. so the child goes without education. School shoes are £5. Not much to many people but most people earn less than that each day for 12 or more hours work around here. If all our friends gave one pound this would go a long way to helping
