Ella-Rose has a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and West Syndrome, She is 3 years old and completely immobile due to having a traumatic first year of her life, but with the correct equipment and right intervention there is no reason why she wouldn’t be able to sit, walk and talk.
Ella-Rose has been recommended to the movement centre for targeted training but this course alone cost £6,300 (although they are willing to fund half of it), The correct postural feeding chair is £1800, car seat £2600, supportive buggy £600. Then she will need high/low bed that tilts when her breathing is bad, Standing Frame, amongst other items.
We know to get Ella-Rose all the equipment and therapies she needs will cost in excess of £10,000, so are now looking for help to raise this money
