    Story

Our little boy, Ruairidh, was recently diagnosed with a condition called Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)

Upon diagnosis we were directed to a group called SNAC, a charity run by volunteers and parents/carers of young people who suffer with the same condition, who aim to offer information and support for those affected and their families.

SNAC run a number of events throughout the year such as Aquarun days, Slime parties, Football fun days, Christmas parties and Pantomimes to name but a few. These are great opportunities for families to get together and share their experiences of JIA.

The charity currently receives no goverment funding and depends of fundraising to carry out its servies. This is where myself and family members come in. We are organising a number of events to help rasie funds such as a Beetle drive, Coffee mornings, raffles and even a half marathon!

        What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
