Story
Gemma Molyneux was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She had a lifelong love and passion for the natural world and often stated that her spirit animal is a fox, such was her admiration for their beauty and intelligence, as well as her passionate belief that the fox is demonised unfairly. Gemma was an active campaigner on their behalf and gained many friends and supporters with her tireless endeavour.
Tragically, Gemma passed away in February 2018. She leaves a huge hole that will never be filled, but her work continues unabated.
This page has been set up in Gemma’s memory to raise money for the National Fox Welfare Society, an organisation very close to her heart.

6 years agoThank you so much to everybody who has donated to and shared this page. We have now reached our target of £3,500 (we’ve actually surpassed it and raised £3,550). The money will be used by the National Fox Welfare Society to purchase a new, permanent fox enclosure. It will also go towards the purchase of fox release pens. Without Gemma’s motivation and inspiration, this page wouldn’t exist. In turn, none of you would have donated to support future fox rescues. Well done Gem, buddy, we thank you and we salute you! 🦊💚

6 years agoThank you to everyone who has helped Gemma’s fund reach £2,570. Having spoken to the National Fox Welfare Society, they have stated that the money will be used to purchase a new fox enclosure. The estimated cost would be around £3,000, but with JustGiving taking a sum, as well as PayPal and credit card charges on top of that, I am going to aim for £3,500. Any excess money will be spent on fox release pens. Of course, I will aim for the largest sum of money possible.
