    Story

After 7 years of being with my partner and 4 years of trying to conceive and being unsuccessful plus years of painful and heavy periods and numerous tests i was given the devastating news that i had severe endometriosis and 2 ovarian cysts.
I had 2 lots of surgery one to try and remove the endometriosis and one to drain both of cysts, this didn't go as successful as it should have as the endometriosis was stuck between my bowel and my womb in which i was told to remove this would mean having to have bowel surgery maybe resulting in having to have a colostomy bag fitted. Both of my cysts were drained but from a recent scan it has shown they have started growing again.
After going through this i was told by my consultant that my chances of conceiving would be very slim and my best option would be to go down the route of IVF treatment.
At last i thought there might be a glimmer of hope and i would be able to have my own little family.
After an appointment with the doctor in the fertility clinic yet another devastating blow i was told that due to my partner having a child from a previous relationship this meant that my funding for my IVF treatment was rejected.
I walked away feeling so disheartened how can that be held against me it is me who has the fertility problems yet they are punishing us both.
The only option i have now is to pay privately for my IVF treatment which seems such a long haul and there is always the question at the back of my mind if i will ever be able to have my own little family that i have always longed for.
We would appreciate any contributions/donations towards my IVF funds and i would like to thank you for listening to my story.
