This is for Sallyann. This is her fight. This is her journey. We are all there every step of the way, doing what we can to support her. Towards the end of 2018, Sallyann was told the devestating news that she had stage 4 cancer. Words cannot express the thoughts and feelings of everyone who loves Sallyann at this time, especially Sallyann herself. Since then, Sal has given her all, because thats just what she does... she picks herself up, dusts herself down and fights. She is kind, honest and fierce. Her strength and determination never ceases to amaze me. Sallyann qualified for chemo which wasnt available on the NHS... therefore fundraising began. It has been an overwhelming response but the cost of the treatment continues... She has responded so well to this treatment and the cancer has even started to shrink!

Anyone who knows anything about me will know how much I despise running... so I have signed up to and got into the Great North Run... at the moment I cannot even run 5k... but on the 8th September I will be running a half marathon... for her. For her fight. For her journey.
