Story
Hi, my name is George Sato, a second year student from the University of St. Andrews.
A few months ago, people from Operation Wallacea came to our university to give a presentation about their activities and how they are attempting to protect nature while maintaining the balance between the lives of local people. This balance between nature and human lives is a significant problem that we are currently facing. The hard work of the people from Operation Wallacea inspired me, and I decided to be part of their activity as a student research assistant.
As a BSc Biology Honours student, I would like to be part of this large-scale project, to maintain biodiversity in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. I reserved a place for myself to go on this journey from the 23rd of June until the 3rd of August 2019, to Indonesia, Wakatobi Marine National park. Detailed information will be on this link below:
