Story
Our son George is a gorgeous, cheeky, smiley little boy with an infectious personality. He was born with a rare brain condition called Polymicrogyria which means too many small folds in his brain. This has caused him to have Hemiplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy which affects his right hand side. This affects his fine motor skills, balance and walking. As a result George is unable to manage using a trike or bike suited for his age and we were lucky enough to have a rep come and visit us with a tomcat special needs trike which provides postural support and all the adaptations he needs to be able to ride a trike. We are looking to raise £2000 to buy George one of these custom built trikes so he can be like his sister and go to the park on his bike.
