On the 26th March, whilst travelling in Thailand, Georgina had a serious motorcycle accident, which led to her narrowly escaping death.

Furthermore, she suffered a great amount of injuries, including a punctured lung, injured throat, fractured skull, (some of which had to be removed), with a bleed on the brain, extensively fractured jaw (top, bottom & both sides), extensively fractured face, broken eye socket, plus other minor injuries from which she has recovered.

Having spent 72 hours on life support, she thankfully pulled through.

After 5 weeks in a Thai hospital, she was repatriated to Addenbrookes at a substantial cost.

Since then, she has gone from strength to strength, and is now looking forward to various reconstructive surgeries and piecing herself back together again.

We are kindly asking for donations to help fund the cost of Georgina's medical procedures.

To help raise funds for the cause, Rebecca (sister), Dean (cousin) and Catie (friend), will be taking part in a series of 10K races.

The first 10K race will be the Fulham 10K on Sunday 18th November 2018.

We will also be looking to host a charity darts tournament in late 2018 or mid 2019, dependent on Georgina's recovery.
