On Tuesday 13th June these 5 children were very joyful attending the children's Taekwon-Do class In Kensington. They returned home to Grenfell Tower where later that night disaster struck as the tower was engulfed in flames. I also have a 24 year old black belt student involved in the fire.
We want to raise money for the surviving families of these students. Tasnim Belkadi 6 yrs has very tragically lost her whole family including her sister Malak 8 yrs, and she will need a lot of our support. Isaac Paulos 5 yrs sadly died and we will offer support to his surviving family including his little brother Lucas. Shekeb Neda 24 yrs survived and heroically saved his mother's life but sadly lost his father. The Hashim family including my students Yakub 6 yrs and Yahya 12 yrs were not found. They were a wonderful family with 3 children. All 4 young students who died were brilliant children. A sad loss to this world.
We have set up a committee of 5 made up of student's parents and instructors to decide how the funds will be allocated to the surviving families.
