Story
On Friday 05th April 2019, John Hart, husband of Havering Volunteer Centre CEO Shelley Hart, suffered a terrifying home invasion that has left him with a broken rib and cuts and bruises all over his body. The Hart family are a major part of the London Borough of Havering community, supporting charities and organisations across the borough and beyond. This despicable act has left locals shocked, upset and angry. The attackers stole family savings for their holiday, jewellery and personal documents. The cost of replacements and repairs is an added insult. Please help the Hart family by donating what you can, so they can concentrate on healing and getting back into their much loved community.

5 years agoUpdate in the case Owing to lack of evidence and no witnesses, the police have closed the case. The insurance company that the family have paid into for over 20 years, will not cover all the costs of the stolen items, replacement documents and repairs. We can not get justice for the Hart family but we can help them by donating and sharing this page.
