    Story

Over the course of April and May, we are looking to pull the paddler community together to paddle the length of the longest river in each continent - that is 33,810KM! For each KM paddled, we are asking people to raise £1 in sponsorship with money split between the RNLI and Surfers Against Sewage.

This challenge is open to all paddle boarders, prone, kayakers and OC from anywhere in the world. For further details please visit our webiste: https://headofthedart.wordpress.com/the-virtual-challenge/

Thank you to everyone who has donated and to those who took part. We are now closing this page and will be splitting the money raised between the RNLI and Surfers Against Sewage. Keep paddling safely and protecting our waterways. We look forward to seeing everyone in person (hopefully!) next year. Massive thank you again. HOTD SUP Team

The challenge started on the 1st April and after four days, just over 600KM have been paddled, which is a fantastic start! We will be updating our league tables on a weekly basis on our website to allow progress to be tracked. Well done everyone for the effort this weekend - lots more paddling to be done as a community :-) https://headofthedart.wordpress.com/paddler-league-table/

With less than a month to go until the challenge starts, there is still time for paddlers to get involved. We now have just over 100 taking part with the youngest person being 7 years old! Once the challenge starts we will provide weekly updates on the the progress.
