Story
The fields, woods and green space in Hinchley Wood and Long Ditton are under threat of development. It's space that's used every day by residents - for dog walking, exercise, family walks and simple enjoyment of nature. It's a prized community asset, which is why we're raising money to secure it's Green Belt status and get it registered - officially - as a Village Green. Please help us with this cause.

I use this patch of rural heaven regularly to escape the pressures of urban living and am very happy to support HWLD Greenbelt to redesignate this land as "Village Green".

Stokes Field was a wonderful place to play and sledge when our boys were little. Now teenagers, they continue to hang out there and play Man Hunt - surely better than hanging around on street corners!

My wife and I walk our dogs in this area all the time. I am also an allotment holder. Please let me know of any way I can help fight this ludicrous proposal Paul

25 years living in LD, with our children now 25 and 23, who were brought up walking and playing on one tree hill. A very important piece of green belt to be saved.
