Story
Lions’ is a local & community Muay Thai & Boxing Gym that specialises in ensuring they support people become the best version of themselves inside and outside of the training room. It is owned by a husband and wife team that dedicate their lives to ensuring their members are fully prepared for life in and out of the ring. Lions' ethos is to improve your physical ability, your approach to nutrition and develop a strong and positive mindset.
Lions' want to support their team to ensure they can continue to go on achieve their dreams. This includes being part of the national team, as well as turning professional. The club is at the stage where we wish to offer the team the best chance to succeed and this means ensuring we upgrade our training equipment, run training camps with guest experts from the respective fields, and, support our top athletes in the cost of equipment, including club uniforms and competition fees (travel and entrance). This is especially important when we see Boxing, Kicking Boxing and now Muay Thai now join the Olympic line up in 2020.
This us the opportunity to support this club that is moving into its next stage of growth.

6 years agoLions & their fighters are on a journey. We need your help to continue it. On the 28 & 29th July, Colin & Sally Lewis (Lions coaches) and Steve Harber accompanied two of their Junior fighters, Ellie, Emilia & Shanelle (Knowsley Academy) to the WKO World Championships. They came back with a haul of medals. Emilia collecting a silver at under 41kg in K1, Ellie & Shanelle each becoming world champions at K1 under 50kg, & Muay Thai under 57kg respectively. Please help us continue this journey with supporting the club, and donate. Thank you.

6 years agoHear Lions roar! Lions Fighters, Ashley Baldwin, Emilia Azarova & Ellie Harber all went out to fight at the AmateurKings Super Fight Series in Luton on the 15th July. They fought with heart... Ellie won a K1 European Super Fight against a strong opponent, Gisele Worth, Team Alterna, NL. Unfortunately, Emilia's opponent had to withdraw at the last moment with an injury, & Ashley fought valiantly against his old rival, & closely lost. However, these two have met before the score is 1 win all, so we look forward to the rematch later this year.

6 years agoWe are 5% towards a target, so a long way to go, but Lions want to thank all who have donated. It does not matter the size of the donation, we appreciate and need all your help. We are pleased to have such a great community club that is really exploding onto the fight scene. Evidence was seen on Saturday night (June 2nd) when Lions held their first show, and got some great wins, but more so, created a great platform for fighters from a wide range of clubs showcase their talents at the Legend Fight Series.
