A little about The Girls Club....

​Founded in 2011 the Girls Club offers Counselling, Therapies and Workshops to everybody who is affected by cancer her or himself and for their loved ones. Last year the Cancer Support group Just Say Cancer for young people started as especially people aged between 18-30 years have a need to talk to each other. We also now have Affordable Counselling and Therapies available here at the centre.
We are always working on new projects and ideas, on how we can
support everybody and we never get tired working on these.

This year I will be running in the London Marathon to raise money for The Girls Club in memory of a beautiful lady, Oonagh Datson. Oonagh lost her battle with cancer last August after a long, brave fight, but throughout always had a smile on her face and would light up the room when she walked in :) After speaking with her husband Terry, we decided all money raised would go to The Girls Club who were a great support for Oonagh and the Datson family during the good and the bad times.

I am honoured to run for such a fantastic group of people who strive everyday to make those suffering and directly affected by cancer, to keep smiling and always keep positive.

Thanks you to everyone who has given money towards the charity, I really appreciate all donations no matter how big or small and they will be helping to keep The Girls Club going and helping those in need.
