My daughter katie was born at 26 +5 weeks in 2012 she spent 3 and a half months in Preston. Without the wonderful doctors and nurses she would have died. She was so tiny and fragile weighing 2lb3.Watching katie fighting for her life was horrendous sitting by her incubator everyday was heartbreaking. Nothing prepares you for being in Nicu its the hardest time of your life. Emotionally physically, and mentally draining. We cant thank the staff enough and will always be truly grateful, that is why i am doing this to give back to the wonderful lifesavers.
