    Story

We are creating a fund - Marcus in Mind - in memory of our fantastic and amazing son, brother and friend.

This fund is to be used to help research to actively identify and help young people who are at risk of suicide.

Thanks to amazing support we have raised through Just Giving and other routes more than we could ever hope, way over our original target. We are so grateful to all those people who have shown us how much they care.

We are now planning how best to use the funds. Our prime aim is to improve the identification of those at risk of suicide so that effective prevention interventions can be used. A high proportion of young people who take their lives do not reach out, and their pain is not known to those around them.

If you still wish to give in memory of Marcus we commend donations to Pete's Dragons or Papyrus.

Thank you all and we send you our love. Alaric Rachel James Philippa and Thomas

Ed W has raised a fantastic sum. He walked 1000K this summer in Spain to Santiago de Compostela along Camino trails. An exhausting journey in the heat of high summer. He is a selfless hero, thanks Ed and all those who supported him. Bless you Ed.
