    Story

A group of friends and I are walking from the Vitality Stadium, home of AFC Bournemouth, to Sunderland AFCs Stadium of Light between the 7th and 16th March 2018. We are raising funds for the Bradley Lowery Foundation, a charity that was set up in memory of the wonderful, beautiful Bradley Lowery who sadly lost his brave fight against neuroblastoma in July 2017. Funds raised for the Bradley Lowery Foundation are used to help create memories for poorly children and their families during the hardest and emotional of times. Our 327 mile walk, undertaken by Sunderland, Newcastle, Leeds Utd, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea fans aims to raise a minimum of £5000 to help build a holiday home in support of the recently launched ‘For Bradley’ campaign. The walk is to be officially started by Jermaine Defoe on the 6th March with the first leg beginning at 5am on the 7th. The walk will end at 5:30pm on the 16th March at the Stadium of Light followed by an official presentation to Bradleys family at Sunderlands home fixture on the 17th March. Bradley and his family touched the hearts of many during his brave fight but the support that they so lovingly received from us all must not stop. Bradley brought his fight into our homes and although he is at peace and has to fight no more, we must remember that the fight goes on for others. Please help the charity help others and support our walk. Thank you.
