Story
We are a group of midwives who work for Portsmouth Hospital Trust. We are all taking the massive challenge this October of running the 10 mile Great South Run! The majority of us have never run before the beginning of this year so its going to be a huge acheivement!
Sadly our job does not always have happy endings and our bereavement suite ,also known as Nightingale, is often in use. The care and support families, who sadly have to use Nightingale, get is amazing, but there is so much more we would like to do to the room to make their stay as homely as possible. We would like to focus on refurnishing the family room and all money raised will be used directly to purchase items to help us acheive that.
No matter how small a donation you can give, every penny counts ......... Thank you all in advance for your support!

8 years agoThe GSR Maternity bereavement continue to be overwhelmed with the amount of support we are receiving from not only our family and friends, but complete strangers! You will have noticed we have yet again increased our target due to the amount of money we have already raised. We still have 7 weeks (eeekkk) to go and we are confident we will achieve our new target. Thank you so much for your continued support, we really are so grateful.
