Weʼve raised £340 to repair the damage to North Walsham Town Football Club caused by the recent storms

Story
During the recent storms, Greens Road, home of North Walsham Town Football Club, suffered irrepairable damage around the facility. The heavy gales took it's toll on a floodlight pylon and set of lights on the youth training pitches, a supporters shelter was torn clean out of the ground and two of the floodlights on the main pitch lost their control mountings making them unserviceable.
The club has teams ranging from our youth starting at u8's all the way through to our more mature veteran's side and three senior teams who are proud to represent the town of North Walsham.
This is a genuine appeal for anyone connected to the club, the wider community or anyone who cares about community based sports provision to help us raise the money to repair the damage caused and get our home suitably fit for our football family. Our volunteer managers, coaches and other staff work extremely hard to deliver football every week so if everyone who follows us on facebook, twitter etc donates £10 (it's not much!) then together we will smash the target.

6 years agoWe have just received a generous donation of £1000 via offline so have reduced the target to account for this. Thanks to those who have donated and have and continue to support the club. Come on folks show some community spirit as Xmas has gone, Easter has passed so donate to a cause that you will see direct results in your town.

6 years agoI'd like to thank those who have promoted, shared and donated so far. We are getting lots of exposure but please feel free to donate even if you think you're donation won't make any difference. Every small amount takes us a little further forward. Not everyone can give up their time to help but a small token of generosity helps get the facility back on it's feet for our future generations.
