    Story

On 20th July 2019, Pendle Forest and Craven Hunt pony club mounted games team won a coveted Horse of the Year Show ticket to compete in the Prince Phillip Cup final against the other 5 best pony club teams in the country at the NEC arena in October.

This is a huge achievement and a dream come true for the girls. With over 300 teams starting out with the same aspiration and the youngest trainer ever to take a team to HOYS, our girls have battled through setbacks to win their hard fought place at this prestigious competition. Even more exciting is the fact that this will be the first time Pendle Forest has ever made it to the final of this competition, not to mention the first time a team from Lancashire has ever qualified and we are hoping for lots of support from our local equestrian community who we would love to see cheering us on throughout the week of competing

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these children and the pinnacle of their mounted games career after having trained for years to achieve this result. However it doesn’t happen for free.

We need to raise around £15k to cover the costs of the stables, and equipment for the riders and ponies. Our team has been allocated the colour white and we have to make sure all our team, supporters and equipment reflects our team colours

We are hoping that a variety of donations and support however large or small can help us reach our target and with this in mInd we will be holding a number of fundraising events over the next few weeks so that we can achieve our goal and you can follow our journey to HOYS on our facebook page

Please support us get to our target amount!!!
