WHAT IS ROOF?
ROOF is a high end water-resistant insulated all in one padded coat with an integrated sleeping bag, hood, hidden pockets and breathable interlining - designed to pack-away into a cross over lightweight and portable shoulder bag.

WHO ARE WE?
Red Dragon Manufacturing is a SOCIAL ENTERPRISE in Swansea (UK) rehabilitating people furthest from the job market and secure housing through training in skills and employment and manufacturing revenue generating product. Our social mission is at the core of everything we do and that is to change lives for the better.

WHAT IT MEANS
We want to expand and train people experiencing homelessness with the skills we already train, to make a product we know is desperately needed and to give hope and a living wage with which to secure housing, re-gain independence, self-respect and safety.

WHAT DO WE NEED?
We've raised £10K in capital and need to raise £15K more to cover the cost of manufacturing 50x ROOF units to give away for testing before we go ahead with production for sale to consumers.

Each ROOF will have be monitored for 6-12 months (temperature, resilience, construction, durability) to build a case for growing the project and developing applications for refugees, the armed forces and rescue services before they have to try and survive another winter.

We pledge to keep you updated at every stage of the project and product development. We will involve you in open days, visits to our workshops, the opportunity to meet the people whose lives you have changed, to own a ROOF and once we've gauged the response for this initial stage fund raising exercise, set up a generous and optional take up reward scheme for everyone who has a vested interest.
