As-salam Alaykum,

Syed Akram is running 100Kms (5Kms/night for 1-20 days of Ramadan) in Service of Imam Mahdi(as) to raise money to feed the homeless in Manchester during the holy month of Ramadhan and beyond with the Imam Mahdi Awareness Campaign (IMAC) and Cold Nights Charity, as part of their Tabligh Through Charity Initiative.

The Money raised will also go towards the monthly Ma'rifa Lectures in English, Children's Workshops and other IMAC Initiatives.

What your kindness will achieve:

MONTHLY EVENTS

£250 - Monthly Youth Lecture/event & children's workshop focused on learning about Imam Mahdi (aj) and reviving His(aj) rememberance. To prepare for his return and address any issues we may have to overcome barriers that restrict from reaching our full potential.

- £100 Venue

- £150 Hadiya and food for the guests of Imam Mahdi (aj)

FEEDING OUR HOMELESS NEIGHBOURS

£10 - just a small contribution of £10 can feed 5 homeless people on the streets of Manchester or provide them with necessities such as socks, gloves and hats to help them through the cold nights.

Your kindness will help spread awareness about our Living Imam (aj) and help us tell people about the hope and prosperity in the form of Imam Mahdi (aj) who will come and relieve them of their struggles and injustice done to them., (sadaqah can be contributed for this cause).

Shahr Ramadhan

Following the examples of the Ahlulbayt (as) we wish to provide meals for the homeless in the month of mercy where we are encouraged to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves. The Ahlulbayt (as) helped everyone in their communities without any discrimination and no doubt Imam Mahdi (aj) will do the same.

We wish to feed the homeless of our community in service to the Imam of Our Time(aj) to spread awareness about him and to show the love of the religion of Islam to those who are less fortunate than us.

The team at IMAC will be visiting the homeless in Manchester every week in Ramadhan to meet them and provide them with a meal to show Imam Mahdi (aj) that we want to be prepared for his return.

Monthly Lectures

We hold monthly lectures about Imam Mahdi (aj) and to learn how we can serve him and be prepared for his reappearance all with addressing issues and enquiries by the community in order for us to remove the barriers which may be affecting us in our daily lives. We wish to remember Our living Imam (aj) on a regular basis as well as inspiring the love of the Imam in our Children.

Your kindness and support have already helped us hold 4 lectures, Fatimyyah Majlis, Dua Nudba Morning and 15 Shahban Celebrations, Lets continue our service to Our Imam (aj) and work towards a united community of helpers of Our Living Imam (aj)
