Story
My partner Scott had a life changing accident whilst travelling in Europe on his motorbike in September 2017. As a result, he ended up with five broken ribs, ruptured spleen and devastatingly, paralyzed from the waist downwards. He was in a hospital in Germany and three months onward, has returned back to England at James Cook Hospital in Middlebrough and is recovering fast. He has been told that he is T9 paraplegic but our hope is that he will regain movement and walk again.
Scott is very determined to rebuild his life and puts 110% into everything. The reason I'd like to fund raise is to help Scott get intensive physiotherapy and treatments that will help him to regain ability and strength in his legs. We have been looking at Prime Physiotherapy in Cambridge http://www.primephysio.co.uk/ and would love to achieve the target of £2000 to help towards treatments.
*UPDATE* WOW! Due to the page doing amazingly well with YOUR incredible support. I will be leaving the page open to donation due to many people wanting to do sponsored activities to fund Scott.
Please KEEP sharing!
Spinal Cord Injury is lifelong so any extra donation forward would really help in the long term towards his recovery. It will also contribute to his accommodations and travelling expenses when he goes over to Cambridge for Intensive Physiotherapy AND even more Physiotherapy sessions!
This will really help Scott get started on his Intensive Physiotherapy that can't be funded by the NHS.
I will keep you all updated when Scott is well enough to travel and out of hospital. We all know how determined and strong he is, but with this strong, positive network, he will find even more strength to do this!
A huge heartfelt THANK YOU for your generosity and moral support to fund Scott To Walk!
Every donation is one step closer to a BETTER recovery for Scott.

I'm Sarah and I would like to help raise money for Scott's Intensive Physiotherapy after a devastating motorcycle accident left him T9 paraplegic. Any donations to this cause would be absolutely amazing and I am already overwhelmed by the support of many people!
