    Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page. We are trying to raise money for our son who suffers from cerebral palsy with spastic quadraplegia. Will is currently unable to walk unaided and needs help with all physical activities that most of us take for granted.

We recently went to watch a triathlon hosted for people with disabilities. At the event, Will was invited to try out a 'RaceRunner' walking frame. He was nervous and afraid to try it, his words "I can't try it, because I can't walk".

After much persuasion Will did try it and within 5 minutes on the RaceRunner, Will had covered more ground unaided than he had in his entire life. He was shouting at the top of his voice to his sister "Look at me I’m running, Olivia - we can have a running race!".

Needless to say, we were in floods of tears, and so proud of him. As these were words we never thought we'd hear.

We want to raise money to buy Will a RaceRunner of his own. Will and his two bestfriends Ben and Ace have registered to take part in a 5K Santa Dash on Sunday 3 December. This is nothing Will has ever attempted before and we are hoping for some support to help achieve his goal.

    Please help if you can.

    Thank you

    Bec and Dave

We're humbled by the support given to Will in his running race. He completed 5K in under an hour, with his two friends Ben and Ace. Given that Will has never walked further than the length of the school playground, this was an awesome achievement. Here's a link to a short video of him in action. https://splice.gopro.com/v?id=6XkWJ2 Please note all proceeds in excess of the cost of a RaceRunner for Will are being allocated directly to his physiotherapy fund. This makes a real difference on a daily basis. Thank you again.
