Why your donation matters

At some stage in our lives, most of us will become a carer for a relative or friend.

Crossroads Care Croydon provides practical support to carers.

Our staff can take over - so that carers can leave their homes with complete peace of mind.

Our staff provide advice, information and advocacy - many carers do not know what is available or how to go about getting help

We provide emotional and social support - to help carers overcome social isolation by enjoying outings, meals or just a cup of tea with others who share their caring experience.

YOU CAN HELP - your donation, however small can make a real difference to the lives of carers.

WHO KNOWS - if you aren't already, one day you could become a carer and we want to be here to help you too.

Case study: donations in action

"You are doing all you can and I only wish there was more of you to help people like me"

Parent-carer, caring for a child with autism - receiving support from our Advisory Officers and whose child attends one of our Saturday clubs.

"I was beginning to feel like a prisoner. Friends were less inclined to invite me to social events because I often had to refuse or cancel at the last minute. I am now getting my life back"

Older carer, caring for his wife with Alzheimers - receiving a regular 3 hours per week respite visit from one of our professionally trained Carer Support Workers.
