About Crusaid
Crusaid is the UK's national fundraising charity for HIV and AIDS. Since 1986, Crusaid has been supporting projects both in the UK and in developing countries.
With 40 million people infected worldwide, HIV is the world's greatest public health and development challenge. Crusaid is responding to this challenge by funding projects both in the UK and overseas.
Crusaid's National Hardship Fund has helped more than one in four people living with HIV in the UK. The Fund provides small grants to assist thousands of people living in dire financial need as a direct result of HIV/AIDS through a system of means testing and application by a professional advocate.
In 2000/2001, Crusaid distributed more than £630,000 to people living with HIV in the UK.
