The Civil Service Benevolent Fund - Making Lives Better
Why your donation matters
No one ever expects they'll need us, but the Civil Service Benevolent Fund helps thousands of people every year.
As the in-house charity for all current, former, and retired civil servants, and their dependants (plus a growing number of Associated Organisations), the Fund gets things done; quickly, efficiently, and in complete confidence.
By making a donation to the Fund, you will be changing lives for the better across the civil service community. You might even be helping someone within your office who needs our support.
In the last 2 years alone, we've provided nearly £9 million in financial assistance.
But we can't do it without you.
So donate now - and help us make a difference.
After all, we're here for you, for life.
Case study: donations in action
For Carrieann Davies and her 7 year-old daughter, Jennesha, a simple log cabin means the world to them.
Jennesha suffers from Rett Syndrome. Now severely disabled, she cannot be left unattended at any time.
Carrieann and her family raised a lot of money to make adaptations to their house.
But there was no room to store the equipment Jennesha requires, nor for the physiotherapy and sensory sessions she needs.
The solution was for a special building to be constructed.
We stepped in to cover the cost. A sensory garden and water feature, chosen by Carrieann's 15-year-old son, Zac, were created. The cabin stores all the equipment Jennesha needs.
The cabin and garden is dedicated to Zac's memory, who tragically passed away while the work was being progressed.
Carrieann says, "The cabin is a fitting tribute to Zac who loved his little sister very much.
"We cannot thank you all enough for your help. This has not only improved Jennesha's life but our whole family's too."
