Youth charity The Prince's Trust needs to raise £1 million a week in order to help change young lives in the UK. The Trust gives practical and financial support, developing skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 14-30 year olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. Since 1976 The Prince of Wales’s charity has helped over 600,000 n young people and continues to support 100 more every day.

Welcome to the auctioning4charity justgiving page.

Thank you to everyone who supported our win a TV through justgiving initiative. This raised a healthy amount of money all of which has been donated directly to The Prince's Trust.

Many congratulations to Dave Atkinson for donating the lowest legitimate unique amount of money above £1.99. Well done. Quite incredibly Dave was notified and took receipt of the TV on his birthday !

We welcome any voluntary donations from this point on to boost our fundraising.

ABOUT US

CSC has recently become a patron of The Prince’s Trust extending its corporate responsibility to this valued charity. The Prince’s Trust encourages its Business Patrons to develop fundraising teams and challenge them to turn a seed fund into a target profit within a 6 month period. CSC has challenged groups of its emerging and exceptional leaders to raise £20,000 or more, for The Prince’s Trust. The money raised will help support young entrepreneurs to set up in business by providing loans, grants and business mentors to help unemployed 18-30 year olds who have been refused funding by other sources to start their own business.

Team Transformers was just one of the teams created within CSC by us the employees. We brainstormed our ideas and ultimately developed a business plan justifying how we would plan to convert a seed funding into £20,000 of profit.

But it’s not just about fundraising. The challenge has provided us with a real opportunity to network with other individuals in the company we would not normally come in to contact with. Its about bringing staff from all levels at various locations across the country together to complete unique morale-building fundraising initiatives. It’s about developing ourselves as individuals and to stretch our skills into areas we do not have the ability to do as part of our normal day to day jobs. It improves communications and brings people closer together to work more effectively with each other. It also further develops self confidence in employees through the involvement of fundraising activities.

Our ambition is not just to raise a fantastic amount of money. Our ambition is to have a positive impact on our colleagues around us in various locations across the company as a result of our infectious enthusiasm, passion and commitment.
