My story

 

为迎接北京2008年奥运会，雷丁中国学生学者联谊会（以下简称雷丁学联）首次组织中国学生学者代表队参加一年一度的Reading Half Marathon （雷丁半程马拉松）比赛，希望可以借此机会弘扬中国奥运精神，让来自各国的朋友能够进一步的了解中国，了解奥运。

与此同时，雷丁学联亦藉此机会为中国儿童少年基金会募捐.儿童是祖国的希望与未来， 更是奥运精神的继承者。因此，作为中国社团组织，作为留学在外的海外华人团体，雷丁学联希望能够通过这样的行动表达海外学子想为祖国贡献一点力量，一份爱心的心愿。
