The Water Buffalo ( Cudgie Smilie ) will be going back to take on Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2013.

This time I will be doing the challenge for 2 charities that are very close to my heart.

The Katherine House Hospice

This was where Stevie B was for the last few months of his time with us, where they gave him quality end of life care and looked after him in his time of need, whilst sat with Steve it was very clear to me that this place had given him some quality times with his family & friends. So on the 25th August 2012 the 1st anniversary of Stevie B's passing and in memory of a great friend I will start my climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, I made him a promise to raise some money for his last home & I will stick to my word. 

The Daniel Worrall Memorial Trust

Just days after celebrating New Year with his family & friends Daniel Worrall was suddenly & tragically killed in a road traffic accident, He was just 20 years old.

In celebration of his life, of all he achieved and all that he gave to us, his family & friends founded The Daniel Worrall Memorial Trust, a charity committed to providing facilities and equipment which will enable and encourage young people, of all abilities, to participate in sport.

Towering over the sandy plains of Tanzania stands Mount Kilimanjaro - The Worlds tallest free-standing mountain. The Water Buffalo (Cudgie Smilie) will trek through deep forest, home of spectacular wildlife, strecthing up to moorland and onwards towards glaciers before attempting to summit Mount Kilimanjaro at Uhuru Peak 5,895 Meters!
