About Chelsea & Westminster Health Charity

We encourage innovation and excellence, providing added value rather 
than replacing NHS provision. We aim to support patients, their 
families and carers from birth to death.

We support initiatives that aim to modernise healthcare by 
researching new and improved solutions, speeding up treatment, 
delivering care as near to home as appropriate, and by making the 
hospital environment pleasant and conducive to healing.

We seek to integrate the Arts to encourage a healing environment—and 
we own and maintain the collection of art for which the Chelsea and 
Westminster Hospital is renowned.

The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has already 
achieved the maximum three stars in the Government`s performance 
ratings. We aim to help it to maintain and improve on this leading 
position.

The Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity has recently funded:
• A pioneering robot for the pharmacy
• Two state of the art incubators for babies in the intensive care unit
• Ground breaking stem cell research
• Customer care training for all the staff
• A new art gallery on the first floor of the Hospital, and live 
performances of music in the atrium and on the wards
