Story
The Chile Cycle Challenge is an arduous test of endurance on two wheels to raise money for Computer Aid International. This will be a 6-day cycle ride (over 375km) along the Andes in Patagonia. All to raise money for disadvantaged children.
Computer Aid International delivers vital IT education to the communities in need. Computer Aid has shipped over 135,000 high-quality, professionally refurbished PCs for reuse in education, health and not-for-profit organisations in developing countries. By participating in this challenge we hope to raise £3,000 in sponsorship which is enough to provide an entire 20 PC lab to a disadvantaged school for the first time. Every pound that we raise is matched by Microsoft so potentially we could be contributing £6,000 to this worthy cause.
If you would like to contribute towards our goal then donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Computer Aid International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks,
Gareth & Sarah.
