The Challenge: The challenge is cycling across Iceland and then a cycle ride across the Alps from Austria to Italy in the fastest time possible. The distance I will cover is approx 850 miles and will take in approx 66,000 feet of accends + descends. The ride takes in major climbs including the Grossglockner, Zoncolan, Stelvio and Mortirolo!

The Person: I am a keen cyclist trying to raise money for The Pace Centre - a charity with the goal of helping childern with cerebral palsy. I have previously taken part in several sportives including: L'Etape du Tour, London to Paris, Tri-State Trek (Boston - NYC), London to Brighton and several Wiggle Super Series events.I have and will be training very hard for this event!

The Bike: I will be riding my beloved Wilier carbon monocoque race bike...made it Italy of course :-)

When: Adventure commences July 2013!
