Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 12 & 13 September Chris, Paul and Kevin are cycling the sustrans trail from Holyhead in North Wales to Cardiff in South Wales. The distance is 255 miles taking in 25 major climbs which makes the total climbing (not including minor climbs) more than 5,000 metres. The twist is that we aim to do it in two days.
The ride will be unsupported, this means that all clothing, repair equipment and food need to be carried while riding (in Chris's case just take no spare clothes). The team are riddled with self doubt mostly about sorting out train timetables, what bike tyres to use, who is carrying what kit and will Chris be allowed to read the map at any time.
Seriously none of us are big cyclists with none of us cycling more than 70 miles in any one day, and certainly not doing back to back days over big hills.
Chris would like to raise money for the Ear Foundation as they do great work not just in developing technology to enable people to hear but in supporting families with deaf children. By donating to the Ear Foundation your money will enable more families to receive much needed support.
