We are a couple from London, and we are going to cycle the length of the river Thames from source to sea (c.400km), while documenting the state of the river through film and photography for the benefit of Thame21 charity.

During our 6-day journey we will camp by the river, meet local people involved with the life of the Thames and talk to businesses, and local organisations. We will also observe the natural environment of the great river, highlighting its vulnerability and significance.

Our project is less about the physical challenge of cycling and rough camping and more about the understanding, appreciation and protection of a river that shaped the lives of millions of people through history. 

Our finished video documentary will be part of Thames21's essential preservationist work.
