Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
My daughter Alexandra died at home aged 22 on 14th May 2005, having courageously battled with Melanoma Cancer for two years. Alexandra will always be remembered for her dedication enthusiasm and passion for life. It was these qualities that enabled her to do her best at all times and to be caring and supportive to others. For more on Alexandra look at her website http://www.alsphotoshop.com/    Always determined to help others she was keen to raise money for charity and instructed her Dad John to run the London Marathon in her name, so it seems only fitting that I continue to do so. This year I am again running for RAFT as amongst many other things they are researching a cure for melanoma and on the prevention front they are examining sun screening. So being close to my heart I believe it to be a very worthwhile cause as we need an end to this killer disease, and RAFT needs our help to be able to continue with this promising research. For more on RAFT http://www.raft.ac.uk/ The training seems to be harder this time around (maybe due to the fact that I am 60) so it will be so rewarding to count on your support.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RAFT will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support, and a special thanks to those who have kindly supported me before.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
