Hello
Well.... we did it. We kicked off the event at 7am on 25th June by touching the sea in Fort William. 23 hours, 42 minutes and 51 seconds, we touched the sea in Caernarfon for the official finish (after walking up and down all 3 mountains of course).
We just wanted to thank everyone so much for your sponsorship. So far we have raised around £2500 between us, including the just giving page, sponsorship from Accenture and other sources.
The just giving page will stay open for a few weeks yet in case anyone else wants to make a donation:

JustGiving sends your donation straight to Myton Hamlet Hospice Trust and automatically reclaims Gift Aid on all eligible donations, so what you give is worth even more.
You can make your own JustGiving page to support your favourite UK charity at www.justgiving.com/process/raisemoney.
Thank you.
Ian, Tim, Pete, Stuart, Darren and Nigel
P.S. I used JustGiving to send this email, so please don't reply to it. Replies go to JustGiving, not to me!
Hello,
Many thanks for visiting our ‘just giving’ page, which means you are either about to donate money to this very worthy cause or you’re just checking up on latest news on our efforts.
Ian, Stuart, Peter, Nigel and Darren will be taking on the mighty 3 Peaks Challenge on 25th June 2009. The aim is to climb the highest mountain in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours. It’s a bit of a challenge, approximately 20 miles walking, 10,000ft of ascent and a lot of driving. To make sure we get some time to sleep, we’ll be supported by Tim, who will do the driving, cooking and generally keeping us organised.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Myton Hamlet Hospice Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So there you have it! An unlikely crew, but a great challenge and a fantastic cause – PLEASE DIG DEEP and SPONSOR US NOW!
If you want to follow our progress up to and on the day then you can do so on twitter http://twitter.com/Acc_3Peaks .
